You can send free SMS from your gmail account on the internet to any Starcomms phone numbers in Nigeria
Log on to your GMail account chat.
Type the starcomms' phone number on the chat window ie "phone number/Email column.
Do not add +234 to the number -07028000XXX
Compose your message and send it as free google SMS.
The recepient get it as SMS and can reply at N5/SMS
