In order to manually configure your Android cell phone with the internet browsing settings,manual configuration/set up,input the following into Google search to get the setting parameters:
"Country name+chosen internet service provider+internet settings.
Then from your cell phone,
SELECT:
Menu > settings >wireless and network > mobile network > Access point name > New APN > Then enter your internet browsing settings for Android phones as obtained earlier and activate.
