In order to manually configure your Sony Ericsson mobile cell phones/handsets with the 3G/internet settings (Air tel India) for mobile cell phones, follow the procedure enumerated below:
-Go to SETTINGS
-Select CONNECTIVITY-Select DATA COMM
-Select DATA ACCOUNT
Profile name: Airtel internet
APN= airtelgprs.com
Save the settings.
That is not all, to continue with the manual configuration of the mobile cell phone Sony Ericsson with the internet settings (Airtel india) for mobile cell phones/Handsets
Now go to internet settings on your mobile cell phone and
-Select INTERNET PROFILES
-Select ADD NEW
-Profile name: mobile internet
-Connect using: Air tel internet
-proxy: disable
Save the settings.
Now go to profile name and
-Select: MORE
-Select: advanced
-Select CHANGE HOME PAGE
-Name =http://www.google.com
Now go to internet settings
-Select MORE
-Select go to
-Select Google
-Go to SETTINGS
-Select CONNECTIVITY-Select DATA COMM
-Select DATA ACCOUNT
Profile name: Airtel internet
APN= airtelgprs.com
Save the settings.
