To add images (photos,pictures ) to your blog posts using blogger,word press or any other free blog hosting site follow the same process.Different browsers make use of different languages.We however use mozilla firefox with blogger for our demonstration in this post on how to add images (photos,pictures) to your blog posts.
You can add images (photos,pictures) to a new blog post. You can as well add images (photos,pictures) to a blog post being edited.The steps are as follows.
(1)Within the NEW POST or EDIT POST menu,click on the add image icon from the tools bar.You are presented with a window showing
-Upload from a computer,
-From a URL,
-From picassa album.
TO ADD IMAGE(PHOTOS,PICTURES) TO YOUR BLOG POST FROM YOUR COMPUTER.
Click on upload from computer to add image (photos,pictures) to your blog post from your computer.
You are presented with a window asking you to brows and select the location from your computer. Scroll to the location and select the image (photo,picture) with your mouse click. After uploading,click on the add image (photo,picture ).The image (photos,pictures) is/are added to your post. If the image(photo,picture) is not in the right location, CUT the image and paste it to a location where you need it within the blog post.
HOW TO ADD IMAGE (PHOTOS,PICTURES) TO YOUR BLOG POST FROM A URL
If the image (photo,picture) you want to use for your blog post is located in a site within the internet or within your blog you can use this method.
First go to the image (photo,picture) and click to select the image location. COPY the image location .
Now go to your NEW POST or EDIT POST to click on from URL. Then PASTE the image (photo,picture) location on the space provided. The image (photo,picture) is uploaded. Click on add image (photo,picture) and the image is added to your blog post.
Most often,the image (photo,picture) is located on the top of the post To move it to another position CUT the image and PASTE it in the position indicated by your mouse click.
Note that search engines do not see images !. They only see the alt. text. Click on the image (photo,picture) and add CAPTION ie the alt text. (the tittle)
You are done.
